Studio V is a radically different approach to musical education. Music was traditionally taught through community, with a student's studio like akin to an extended family. Studio V seeks to resurrect this European Classical Tradition.
Studio V is the home to professional recording artists, music educators, avid enthusiasts, aspiring performers, and dedicated music lovers of all ages, all learning styles, and all backgrounds. Salon nights, private concerts, socials, and other community based learning and communing are all part of the Studio's commitment to its students and its community.
Students are challenged to a deeper understanding of musicianship, musicality, and performance art. Students are encouraged to support each other through friendships, collaborations, networking, and peer learning. Whether it is in the private musical lesson with Matthew or in the socials, the salons, or the concert invitations received, students in Studio V are a part of a musical family.
Join us, and join our commitment to bringing people closer to musicians, bring musicians into communities, and making music together. Music should never be a tool of exclusion, and students and friends of the Studio V community seek to engage people to break down the barriers and develop a critical, sincere, and engaging relationship with music in every day life.
